NewFunFiCO
NewFunFiCO is an international research network funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme through a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchanges grant (No. 101086251).
Since its launch in 2023, the network has developed a strong international collaboration bringing together researchers with complementary expertise in fundamental fields, gravitation, and compact objects. A central component of this effort has been the mobility and exchange of researchers among the participating institutions, fostering sustained scientific interactions and strengthening collaborative links across different regions of the world.
The network comprises six partner institutions: the University of Aveiro (Portugal), which serves as the coordinating institution; the University of Valencia (Spain); Goethe University Frankfurt (Germany); the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Mexico); the Federal University of Pará (Brazil); and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (China).
